Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Johnstown crews are already moving. We dispatch Johnstown units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Johnstown, NY kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Johnstown roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our senior technicians are IICRC-certified and have worked everything from a clean supply-line break to a full sewage backup, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Johnstown isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We're fully insured and licensed to work anywhere in Johnstown, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Johnstown, NY-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Anyone in Johnstown who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Johnstown call at a time.
Water damage doesn't always look dramatic at first — some of the costliest Johnstown jobs we've handled began as a small, easy-to-miss problem. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Johnstown line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
We size the Johnstown response to the actual damage — a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Johnstown units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Johnstown, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Johnstown properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Johnstown get handled under strict Category 3 protocol: containment, PPE, antimicrobial application, and documented disposal of contaminated materials.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Johnstown drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Johnstown, NY, most Johnstown calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
We document everything with photos and moisture logs and work directly with your adjuster so you're not stuck translating restoration jargon.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Johnstown job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
Our Johnstown team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
Our nearest available Johnstown crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount extraction gear on board.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
Daily moisture checks continue until every affected material reads dry, and you get a complete report at the end.
Every Johnstown job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That's not a marketing line — it's written into every Johnstown work order we issue. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
